About Me
Julian "the Tiger Wizard" Lewis graduated from Berklee College of Music in Contemporary Writing and Production. During his time at Berklee, Julian crafted countless shows with a dozen different artists in which he strengthened his skills such in, band leading, live playback, programming, arranging and orchestrating, playing keys, and of course his first true love, drumming. Julian is best known for creating electric and cinematic experiences that elevate the artists original record. He has programmed/MD for VINCINT's set at OUTLOUD Music Festival. He also performed as a drummer with Harlem Rapper Billy Dean Thomas at 2024 Boston Calling l as well as 2023 GLD FSTVL celebrating 50 years of hip-hop.
He has performed twice as a drummer and MD at Lollapalooza: in 2022 with Aiida, and in 2023 with Tyler Christian. Julian is energetic, professional and positive.
Personal Statement:
Listening to my team members allows me to learn from them as much as they learn from me, which allows me to adapt quickly to new challenges. From that core value, I'm able to inspire and engage my team members to achieve new heights and exceed our performance goals. By combining 8 years of experience as an arranger and bandleader for rhythm sections, horns, strings/orchestra and even BGVS with my passion in sound design and EDM, I am beginning to develop my own unique approach to programming. I always work hard to maintain the style and personality of the artist while bringing their show to soaring heights!
